Nestled on the slopes above Kealakeua Bay, on the Kona Coast of the "Big Island" of Hawaii, Ho'onanea awaits. Surrounded by award-winning botanical gardens and exceptionally striking views, guests can enjoy unmatched tranquility and aesthetics.

A natural wood bench allows visitors to sit and enjoy the scenery

The lawn and botanical gardens are among the most beautiful in Hawaii, with zoysia lawn pathways and wooden catwalks that take you through hundreds of varieties of flowering trees, plants, flowers, and works of art. Tame doves and a variety of wild birds flourish everywhere. A lily pond teeming with fish sits next to the upstairs entryway.

A boardwalk takes visitors through our botanical gardens

Guests at Ho’onanea can choose from two exclusive apartments and access to gracious service from hosts Susan and Patrick Howarth is close at hand, as they offer any assistance or advice they can.
